'Future Roadshow' begins

by isleofman.com 1st July 2008
The Manx Telecomputer bus is throwing its doors open to the public, on a 'Future Roadshow' which started in Peel this morning.

The Department of Education's 'single-decker' is equipped with over 20 of the latest Apple i-Mac machines, and is used to teach ICT - Information Communication Technology - skills to primary school pupils all over the Island.

The man who leads the lessons on board the high-tech teaching aid, Alex Townsend (pictured), says it will be a great opportunity for parents, and others, to see how it all works (audio file attached):

The next stop for the 'Future Roadshow' will be Market Square, Ramsey from 10am tomorrow.
