by isleofman.com 2nd July 2008
There's a stark reminder from the Fire and Rescue Service about the need to keep an eye on your stove.

Fire fighters had to force an entry into a flat in Rowany Drive, Port Erin after a pan overheated and caused a considerable amount of smoke damage.

The occupants were alerted by an alarm and escaped injury.

Officers are also reminding the public that flats must comply with fire regulations.

The incident in Port Erin happened yesterday.
