Island's new fire protection

The Island's latest fire engines have been designed to deal with climate change challenges.

The four appliances have added water pumps, ladders, beathing aparatus, life jackets and throw lines.

Each engine costs ?175,000 with a lifespan of 15 years. They will serve Castletown, Douglas, Peel and Ramsey.
