The gates of some of Peel's most exquisite gardens will be open to the public this weekend.
Green-fingered ethusiasts have a chance to view 19 lovingly-tended gardens in the popular 'Secret Gardens of Peel' event, on Saturday and Sunday.
All sorts of gardens will be on show, from modest back yards decked out with pots and baskets, to spacious lawns with wide herbaceous borders.
All the entries are listed in a programme, which doubles as the entrance ticket.
Organiser Clive Alford says the wide variety of garden designs will be a real eye-opener (audio file attached):
