Prospect union recruiting

Fears over pensions, job security and the credit crunch have led to a dramatic rise in union membership in the Island.

Nowhere more so than at the Government Officers' Association, Prospect.

A recruitment drive at the start of this year has been a spectacular success - and has seen membership double in the first six months. This month that drive is being repeated.

Union official Angela Moffatt says people in fear seek strength in collective representation:
