'Panic and mayhem' over pensions

'Panic and mayhem' has been caused among the membership of a union, following the receipt of letters outlining possible changes to their pension schemes.

Regional Industrial Organiser for Unite in the Isle of Man, Mick Hewer (pictured) says he has received numerous calls from members, who have been unable to find out what's going on.

Because of the general level of concern, he has taken the matter to a higher level, with a letter to the Chief Minister:
