Harvey Briggs receives Tynwald Honour

The Manx parliament has bestowed its highest honour on Harvey Briggs for his long service to the community, and especially the farming industry.

The presentation was made in the Royal Chapel at St John's, in the presence of the Princess Royal, at the conclusion of this morning's Tynwald ceremony.

President of Tynwald Noel Cringle said Mr Briggs was a worthy recipient (audio file attached):
