If you are in Liverpool or Manchester this weekend you could be in for a treat.
An Airbus A380, the world’s largest commercial passenger aircraft, will be appearing at both cities' airports, performing a flypast, an ‘approach and go-around’, between 1 and 2pm.
Then, in tribute to Liverpool's status as European Capital of Culture 2008, it will follow the historic waterfront, flying above the Mersey, and culminating in an appearance at the Wirral Show, west of New Brighton, weather permitting.
