Martin and Dunlop Joy

by isleofman.com 8th July 2008
Guy Martin put a disappointing season behind him to win the opening race of the Southern 100 meeting at Billown.

He finished ahead of Ryan Farquhar and Ian Lougher to take the Denior Solo Founders Race.

Guy says he's enjoying going back to basics racing out of the back of a van, and the Southern meeting is the perfect tonic:-

Adrian McFarland was the winner of the 600c.c. class.

Race Two saw a Dunlop one-two in the 250c.c. contest with William winning impressively from Michael. Castletown rider Chris Palmer came third.
