Musical workshops at Ballakermeen

by isleofman.com 9th July 2008
Island youngsters have a chance to secure starring roles in two Disney musicals this summer.

Young people aged between eight and twelve can get involved in the Jungle Book Kids, while those who are 12 and over can perform in Aladdin Junior.

The shows will be staged at Ballakermeen High School’s studio theatre next month, at the culmination of two holiday workshops run by Jaxon Productions.

After its successful staging of High School Musical last summer, Jaxon’s Sonia Callin (pictured) says they were obvious choices (audio file attached):

The Jungle Book seven-day workshop takes place from July 27 to August 2, with the Aladdin workshop between August 23 and 31.

For further information contact Jacqui Hawkes on 671872, Sonia Callin on 492821 or email jaxon@manx.net
