A number of people were arrested early this morning in connection with the importation of drugs into the Isle of Man.
It was part of an ongoing investigation by members of the drug trafficking unit into the importation and supply of heroin.
All those arrested were detained at Police Headquarters in Douglas.
Detective Inspector Kevin Willson said a number of searches were carried out in the Douglas area this morning.
