Port works affect Steam Packet schedule

by isleofman.com 15th July 2008
Work on the port at Liverpool has meant the scheduled Steam Packet service to Merseyside on Wednesday afternoon will be diverted to Heysham.

The Mersey Docks and Harbour Board is replacing the link-bridge at the Liverpool landing stage.

The fastcraft Snaefell will operate a replacement Douglas to Heysham service, leaving Douglas at 2pm and returning from Heysham at 5pm on Wednesday.

Courtesy coaches will depart from Heysham to Liverpool when Snaefell arrives from Douglas.

Courtesy coaches will also transfer foot passengers between Liverpool and Heysham.
