Accident after bench placed in road

Police are looking for a group of people who could have information about a potentially serious road accident in Union Mills in the early hours of this morning.

They are thought to have been in the area of Burnside Terrace around the time a garden bench was placed in the road.

A vehicle collided with the bench soon after, badly damaging both.

Anyone with information is asked to ring the anonymous Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111, or Police Headquarters in Douglas, on 631212.
