Parking spaces for residents

There may be light at the end of the 'parking tunnel' for residents of North Quay, Douglas - with the completion of the Shaw’s Brow car park.

Yesterday in Tynwald, Transport Minister David Anderson was asked detailed questions on the development by South Douglas MHK Bill Malarkey.

Mr Anderson said he wouldn’t refund parking tickets issued to residents while they had been waiting for work on the car park to be finished.

But his department is holding talks with Douglas Corporation to give residents reserved parking spaces:
