Possible tourism market in China

Chinese tourists could be a lucrative new market for the Isle of Man.

Our Honorary Representative in the People's Republic, Richard Hewitt, says the opportunity is there, and is waiting to be exploited.

On a recent visit to the Island, Mr Hewitt said young Chinese studying in the United Kingdom would jump at the chance to see what we had to offer.

But he added they would need positive encouragement to come over (audio file attached):
