Driver 'forced off road'

by isleofman.com 17th July 2008
Police are investigating an incident in which a motorist was allegedly 'forced off a road' by two other drivers.

A silver Citroen Saxo was travelling along the St Mark's to Ballamodha Road when it was forced to take avoiding action by two 'Range Rover type vehicles', heading in the opposite direction.

Nobody was injured, but the vehicles didn't stop and police are keen to find out exactly what happened.

They want to speak to an Irish man who helped the Saxo driver, and a person who was riding a horse in the area at the time.

It happened at about 4.30pm on Monday, and anyone with information is asked to ring Castletown Police Station, on 82 2222.
