'Tide is turning' - Permaculture Association

Finding space for allotments could soon be on the agenda of local authorities all over the Isle of Man.

It's after Ramsey Commissioners discovered they are legally obliged to provide them, if there is a demand.

The Island's Permaculture Association has been pressing for more allotments.

Association member Amanda Griffin, who works an allotment in Jurby, says the tide is turning and is predicting many more people will want to grow their own fruit and veg in future (audio file attached):
