The Attorney General wouldn’t be drawn this week about the whether anybody involved with failed airline Euromanx had committed a criminal offence.
Onchan MHK Peter Karran put a series of questions to John Corlett about the legal implications of the last Euromanx plane at Ronaldsway, which left the Island five and a half hours after the firm declared itself bust.
Mr Karran quoted from a guide to aircraft finance which was written by a firm of English solicitors, and Mr Corlett said he couldn’t advise on English law.
He said some of the questions were hypothetical, and he was therefore unable to answer them.
