Fishing season extended

by isleofman.com 21st July 2008
The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry has given anglers some good news: the rainbow trout fishing season has been extended.

The Inland Fisheries regulations passed by Tynwald earlier this week will mean the those with Winter Fishing Licences can continue to fish Sulby, Injebreck as well as Clypse and Kerrowdhoo reservoirs until January 31 next year.

The licences will be available from Rose House in Douglas as of September.

The department says the extension, allowing anglers two trout per day, will be monitored and reviewed next year.
