After 103 years, Albert Road School in Ramsey has closed its doors for the final time.
The building has been welcoming the town's children since 1905 and yesterday, pupils and teachers past and present, as well as Ramsey MHKs Allan Bell and Anne Craine, were among those who said an emotional farewell at the official closing ceremony.
Long-serving teacher Stuart McAdam, who’s retiring after 25 years at Albert
Road, and head Mike Faragher formally locked the doors as they prepare to move to the new Scoill Ree Gorree on Lezayre Road.
