Mental health open day

People in the Isle of Man affected by mental health issues are being invited to a 'one day recovery conference' at the Sefton hotel today.

It's being run by the north west regional team from the mental health charity 'Rethink', and is an opportunity to talk to experts in the field, and members of the organisation who have recovered from severe conditions.

There's an open invitation throughout the day, and this evening there will be a number of presentations about Rethink's work.

One of the Speakers, Sara Green, believes choice is an important consideration when it comes to seeking advice on mental health:
