Armed officers are necessary

The Isle of Man is well equipped to deal with gun crime and other incidents involving armed individuals.

That’s the belief of Chief Constable Mike Langdon who says officers with firearms will sometimes need to be deployed.

He was speaking following a recent incident in Douglas to which armed officers were sent (audio file attached):
