Lock up your alcohol and make sure you know where your kids are going.

That's the two-pronged message from Isle of Man Police as they prepare for their latest high-visibility operation on the streets of Douglas tonight.

A quite unique combination of factors: pay day, the last day of school and predicted good weather mean the capital's expected to be packed with revellers of all ages later on.

Acting Inspector Steve Maddox says the focus may be on children but officers are also there to ensure everyone enjoys themselves in a safe and responsible way:
