The executors of the estate of Guy Barrett who have just announced the sale of Mezeron, the Ramsey based shipping firm to Dohle, have described it as
" a great opportunity".

That quote was from Clive Dixon executor and partner in Moore Stevens and was backed up by Mezeron's Ops Director Norman Leece who said the firm could continue with " the peace of mind that they are owned by a like minded company."

Mezeron was linked to a possible sale to the Sefton Group at the end of last year but that failed to materialise.

After the acquisition. Christine Barrett, widow of Guy steps down as director. Jorg Vanslow and James Stevenson of Dohle join Norman Leece on the Board.
