The executors of the estate of Guy Barrett, who have just announced the sale of Ramsey based shipping firm Mezeron to Dohle, have described it as 'a great opportunity'.
That quote was from Clive Dixon, executor and partner in Moore Stevens, and was backed up by Mezeron's operations director Norman Leece, who said the firm could continue 'with the peace of mind that it was owned by a like-minded company'.
Mezeron was linked to a possible sale to the Sefton Group at the end of last year, but that failed to materialise.
Following the acquisition by Dohle, Guy Barrett's widow Christine is stepping down as a director of Mezeron, and Jorg Vanslow and James Stevenson of Dohle are joining Norman Leece on the Mezeron board.
