Manx team looking for success

It's hoped the hard work put in by the Isle of Man's ten strong team for the forthcoming Commonwealth Youth Games in India will bear fruit.

Team Manager Jill Gillings is looking forward to some good results from her squad, following a level of prepartion someway beyond previous years.

The work has included hot weather training, which badminton player Josh Green experienced on a recent three week visit to India (audio file attached):

The 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games are in Pune, from October 12 to 18.

The Isle of Man will host the games in 2011.
