Lead taken from roof

by isleofman.com 29th July 2008
Police are hunting thieves who stripped lead from the roof of a house in Douglas.

A large number of lead strips measuring 2 feet 6 inches by 10 feet were taken from the property on South Quay in the last two weeks.

Officers say moving that amount of lead would have required at least two people and a vehicle.

Anybody with any information can contact police on 631212 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
