Burst tyre causes delays at Airport.

by isleofman.com 29th July 2008
A Dornier aircraft of Manx2.com burst a tyre landing this morning at Ronaldsway.

The incident started a full emergency procedure which included closing the road in front of the airport.

The aircraft was able to taxi off the runway but was left for a time near the runways until a new tyre was fitted.
It also caused some problems for flights taking off and landing.
No one was injured.
