Six Bay Challenge completed

Four intrepid athletes have completed the gruelling Six Bay Challenge.

After setting off from Douglas at 7am on Saturday, the team swam Castletown, Gansey, Port Erin, Peel, Laxey and finally Douglas bays, cycling or running inbetween.

They're raising money which'll help send athletes to India later this year at the Commonwealth Youth Games and the full event in Delhi in 2010.

Tim Glover was there when the team came up the steps near the Sea Terminal to a rapturous reception and spoke to Martin Malone, appeals committee chairman for the Isle of Man Commonwealth Games Association (audio file attached):
