Police are appealing for witnesses after cash was stolen from a house on Lord Street in Douglas.
A man was seen going into the property at around nine o' clock yesterday evening.
He's described as white, of slim build and in his early 20s, with short, spiky, possibly streaked blonde hair and a few days growth of a goatee beard.
He was wearing a blue t-shirt with a star inside a circle on the front of it.
