by isleofman.com 8th August 2008
A man has been assaulted on the Victoria Road/Victoria Avenue junction in Douglas by a gang of men.

It happened this morning, at around 01.45hrs.

The group of 5 or maybe 6 men followed him along Victoria Road before coming up to him at the Victoria Avenue junction, by the steps up to Shoprite car park. They pushed him to the floor and attacked him before running off down Victoria Avenue.
