Helicopter takes fisherman to hospital

A crewman on a visiting fishing boat has been airlifted to hospital in the Isle of Man, after being taken ill.

The alarm was raised by the skipper, as the vessel was fishing 18 miles off Douglas.

A rescue helicopter from RAF Valley winched the man, a foreign national, off the vessel and took him to Noble's, where he is being treated.

Coastguard David Keggin says conditions for the operation were good:
