Hutchinson Square set for revamp

Updates to Hutchinson square will cost ?500,000.

Douglas Corporation has plans in place to improve all the public squares in the town - first Derby and now to Hutchinson.

Restoration, re-design and a lighting plan are just part of the idea that will also include historical and musical references to the square's days as an internment camp.

Cllr David Christian believes the project is worthwhile (audio file attached):
