Chair based exercises for the elderly

Elderly people in the south of the Island have been taking part in exercise classes to improve their mobility and general fitness.

The sessions are chair based which allows everyone of any age to participate.

The scheme is being run by the Department of Health, and the first of four sessions was held yesterday (Tuesday) in Castletown.

These ladies say they found it very beneficial (audio file attached):
