Education officials are continuing to analyse the Isle of Man's A-level results, but the indications are it's been another record breaking year.
The overall pass rate was 97 per cent, the second highest ever achieved, with more than 41 per cent gaining A or B grades.
The number of entries per student was a record four each, and the range of subjects was the most varied ever - ranging from the traditional physics and history to the more contemporary 'World Development and Critical Thinking'.
The United Kingdom is boasting a 97 per cent pass rate for the first time, but it's been pointed out their results include students of any age, whereas the Island's results relate solely to 18 year-olds.
Secondary Education Advisor Paul Craine says education is about young people achieving their potential, not pass rates.
