Manx resident fears for Georgia

A Georgian woman living in the Isle of Man says she is watching events unfold in her home country with a sense of fear and dread.

Lia Gulverdashvili has lived in Douglas with her husband Jonathan Fletcher since November last year.

She believes she’s the only Georgian on the Island.

A shaky ceasefire is in place between Russia and Georgia at the moment, but Lia says she is still very concerned about her family and friends:
