A-levels aren't easy - education boss

Exams aren’t getting easier, so says a senior Education official, after the Island recorded its second highest ever set of A-level results.

The overall pass rate at the Island’s five secondary schools and Isle of Man College was 97 per cent.

11-19 co-ordinating adviser for the Department of Education, Paul Craine, says he’s not surprised at the success.
