Celtic League calls for child abuse audit.

The Celtic League is calling for a retrospective audit of child abuse in the Isle of Man.

The call comes in the wake of high-profile abuse scandals in the UK and the Channel Islands.

The League says Manx people should have the opportunity to tell an independent body about any abuse they suffered, however long ago, without the trigger of a public scandal.

The League's Bernard Moffatt says the authorities should be pro active - and audit the Island's own records.
