Geoff Cannell will be remembered at a service of celebration later today (Sunday).
Fittingly, it will be held at the TT Grandstand and pit lane at two o’clock (in St. Ninian’s Church - if wet).
A well-known TT commentator, former Onchan MHK, long-serving member of the Board of Education and news and sports editor at Manx Radio, his death at the age of 65 last September, shocked the Island community.
Members of the public are invited to attend the service, which will be led by former governor Sir Laurence New (audio file attached):
