Castletown Festival incident

by isleofman.com 22nd August 2008
Police in Castletown are investigating an indecent assault at the town's festival.

It's claimed a man was giving what's described as 'unwanted attention' to a group of girls near the stage where a Michael Jackson tribute act was performing on Saturday, August 2.

Officers say they would particularly like to hear from a man and woman in their early 30’s who were stood near to the right-hand side of the stage.

It's believed the couple were approached by one of the teenage girls during the festival and the woman had spoken to police earlier that evening reporting the man.

It's hoped the couple will be able to help police with their inquiries.

If you can help, call Port Erin police on 832222 or police headquarters on
631212.
