Police urge extra caution on roads

As practice week for the Manx Grand Prix draws to a close, police are urging all road users to take extra care.

It comes 24 hours after a visiting motorcyclist was killed in an accident in the Greeba area.

The 43 year old man from Scotland was involved in a collision with a car.

Inspector Richard Power (pictured) is in charge of the Roads Policing Unit.

He says to avoid tragedy people need to take the road safety messages seriously:
