Boost for Ramsey retailers

Ramsey’s retailing sector could be in for a boost.

That’s after the Department of Trade and Industry announced it was expanding its retail consultancy programme to the town.

First rolled out in Douglas, the department says the programme’s helped around 30 retailers increase revenues and meet customer needs.

The news has been welcomed by Chris Blatcher, chairman of Ramsey Chamber of Trade (audio file attached):
