DTI offer help to retailers

Ramsey retailers will get the chance to benefit from the experience of a government consultant who’ll be helping them improve their businesses.

From September, the Department of Trade and Industry will extend its independent retailer consultancy programme to the town after a successful run in Douglas.

DTI Minister David Cretney says the Island’s independent retailers face a number of problems.

But he says there are particular problems to tackle in Ramsey (audio file attached):
