Tour of Ireland to start

Manx cycling star Mark Cavendish and Andrew Roche are in action later as the Tour of Ireland gets underway.

Cavendish's Columbia team will be one of many several Tour de France squad's competing with Roche (pictured) part of a strong Pinarello team.

The Tour begins in Dublin and finishes in Cork on Sunday after five stages covering 900 kilometres. Today’s first stage from Dublin Docklands to Waterford is 192 kilometres.

There’s highlights of the day’s racing every evening on ITV4.
