Ashes of TT fan scattered on Snaefell

by isleofman.com 28th August 2008
A young TT fan who died in a motorbike accident has had his ashes scattered on Snaefell.

The family of 25 year old Bobby Alston travelled to the Island from their home in Berkshire to bid him farewell on the mountain course he loved so much.

Bobby died in June, shortly after returning home from a visit to this year's TT with his father Jim.

His mum and dad, sister and brother, other family and two close friends made the sad pilgrimage here with Bobby's ashes.

Jim says it was an unforgettable - and somehow beautiful - experience:
