Appeal for witnesses to fall in Queen Street

A 41-year old woman suffered fatal injuries as a result of a fall from the first floor of the car park at Queen Street, Douglas.

It happened at around 11:30pm on Wednesday 20th August 2008

Subsequently she died in hospital as a result of those injuries in ITU on Friday 22nd August.

The matter is not being treated as suspicious and The Coroner of Inquests has been informed. Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with the matter, although if anyone was in and around Queen Street on the evening in question or saw a distressed female in the area then police urge them to contact Sgt. Gary Heaton at Lord Street Police Station.
