Affray charges withdrawn

Two men who had been charged with affray have been told there’s 'no stain on their character' after the allegations were withdrawn.

28-year-old Stephen James Andrew Deegan and 26 year old Aidan John Linnegan, both of empire Terrace in Douglas, walked free from court.

Three other men will have their cases heard by Deputy High Bailiff Alistair Montgomery.

Carl Alan Cameron, aged 19, of Woodbourne Road in Douglas was remanded in custody.

20 year old James Barry Telford of Empire Terrace in Douglas, and 19 year old Ashley Jordan Sayle of Castle Street were both granted bail.

All three men will appear in court again on September 9.
