Rushen MHK Phil Gawne says we need to start planning NOW if we're to have any chance of becoming self-sufficient in energy by 2020.
He gave a speech at the Celtic Congress in Aberystwyth recently which floated the concept that - by harnessing wind and wave power and building more efficient homes - the Isle of Man could become a net EXPORTER of energy within a dozen years.
