Commissioners offer condolences

by isleofman.com 3rd September 2008
Castletown Commissioners have offered their condolences to the family and friends of a former King William's College student.

18 year-old Charlie Keggin (pictured) from Ballasalla was visiting his parents in Indonesia when he was electrocuted after grabbing a wire while partially submerged in a swimming pool in South Jakarta.

A group set up on Facebook in tribute describes him as incredibly gifted and universally loved.

At this week’s board meeting, Alwyn Collister said the board's sympathy was with the Keggin family after such a tragic death.

The funeral will take place at King William’s College Chapel on Friday morning.
