Car rescued from Garwick beach

by isleofman.com 4th September 2008
A coastguard rescue unit had to be called out late last night (Wednesday) after a car was stuck on a beach at Garwick.

The vehicle was stuck up to its axle in the sand below the high water mark on Garwick Beach and, with high water due at 2.30 this morning, the owner requested Coastguard help to free the vehicle.

It was successfully removed undamaged from the beach at around midnight.
